I'm pretty sure turkey vultures are here to stay for the summer - no migration yet. Seeing so many this time of the year probably points to a roost that has just decided to wake up or perhaps a group is off to see what they can find to eat - not unusual. Nice to see this time of year. This is nesting time for a lot of them so soon there will be more wandering around.

I'm just starting the June report so if you see any more interesting vulture groups wandering around, let me know.
