In my youth I spent a fair amount of time in Mexico, mostly the Pacific
Coast side. I've never done the South Padre Island spring migration, but of
course I've heard wonderful stories about it.. Looking at the map, the area
just south of the border, SE of Matamorros, MX, looks like it has
potential for birding. I would love to hear any personal experience. If
