Killian found a couple of groups of Sabine's Gulls off Sandy Point,
Ferndale, on the evening of the 23rd. Upon hearing about this, I headed out
by boat from Birch Bay and found them after a bit of searching. The group I
came across was about 40 in number. Killian and another saw over twice this
amount. Such beautiful gulls. They were mixed with Bonaparte's Gulls, but
for the most part stayed separate. A couple of photos can be seen HERE

Additional photos can be seen on my eBird
