Whoops. I heard from a camera buff far more knowledgeable than I. The
'white' lenses are not Canon as I had guessed. But, still product
placement, and who knows, likely Canon benefited more than either Nikon or
the correct ID from mistaken people such as I.
*You must have been tricked by the white lenses - those cameras and lenses
are not Canon, but OM System, formerly know as Olympus. *
